Rick is the founder and head of the AFCollective & AFC Radio, he has been in the music business for over 25 years and has owned his own professional studio. Rick has worked with Cutting Crew, Deacon Blue, Highlanders and many more.

Ross has been the Vice President of Blue Newt Music since its inception in 2004, he is experienced in networking, promotion and all aspects of music event co-ordination. As well as lending his technical expertise and computer savvy to the company, he takes an active, if quiet role in planning the future direction of the label and implementing present projects.

Mick is a musician/Promoter from Paisley, Scotland. He Currently runs the "Paisley Unplugged" Acoustic sessions at The Paisley Arts Centre In Scotland which hosts acoustic acts from all over the UK. They have also had requests from all over the globe from acts who want to play there. Mick is working closely with Rick Allardice and Stoo Nicol to develop a hub for musicians in Scotland and AFC Scotland.

Margaret is an award-winning journalist, best-selling author and amateur musician who has turned her sights to assisting musicians with her new record label and publishing affiliate. Located in Toronto, Ontario, Sugar Moon presents a diverse and talented line-up of singer/songwriters and composers in a variety of genres.

Paula Fredericks, a self-described "house concert instigator" owns acousticroof.ca and has been a fan of indie singing/songwriting since the late 60's. She spends way too much time on her laptop connecting with musicians and promoting music through myspace, facebook and twitter but occasionally breaks away to attend shows and folk festivals and to dabble in whatever else life sends her way.

Robert Barry Francos has been writing about music since starting his own fanzine in 1977, appropriately titled FFanzeen (from 1977-1988). Since then he has been published internationally in magazines as diverse as Oculus, Shredding Paper, Next Big Thing, and Blitz. Presently he has a column focused on indie folk and singer-songwriter (among others) at Jerseybeat.com/quietcorner.html, a page at Gemmzine.com, and his own popular blog with ffanzeen.blogspot.com. He looks forward to hearing all of you.

Maria has been singing since her early childhood, She sang in an ‘alternative folk’ duo from the age of 15 around folk clubs and pubs alongside artists like Billy Connoly and Gerry Rafferty (The Humblebums), John Martyn, & The Incredible String Band. Then went on to sing and record with Martin Stephenson (Daintees) and learned a great deal from him about the music ‘Industry’. She set up a self help co-operative, called Musician’s Assistance And Development, (M.A.A.D.) which ran weekly Open Mic and Jam Sessions, organised Festivals, got Radio airplay and press coverage for members, ran a song writing competition and recorded/published a compilation CD. In 2005 she started her own ‘Maria Hall Band’ and recorded some of the many songs she had written over the years producing her first solo album, ‘Her Spirit Is Free’ in 2007 featuring many talented musician friends. She an integral part of the Artistic Freedom Collective Network and continues to try to promote her own and other’s music. She is currently recording her second and third Maria Hall albums and gigging around the UK. She also host her own radio show at nessmp3.com on Thrusday nights.

Joan is a best selling author and possesses a rare talent in the craft of songwriting. Her lyrics range from intelligent fun to intensely sincere and her pop-styled melodies are infectious. Joan has performed in a wide variety of venues, from intimate coffee house settings to the Roots Room stage at the ECMAs and Canada’s Wonderland Kingswood Concert Theatre. Joan also holds 2 black belts in the martial arts and is a cancer survivor.

Emmet is a long time fan of music who plays and sings simply for the joy of it, he has a passion for good music of all genres but finds particular joy in roots music from all over the world. Emmet is a loyal AFC Radio listener you can often find him in the radio chatroom or hanging out on LOOM.

As well as being a brilliant musician and songwriter in his own right, Stoo is integral to the AFC organization, his Mid-Week Madness radio show can be heard every Wednesday and he is heavily involved with the creation and promotion of several international gatherings and projects.

David has worked in the entertainment industry for 30 years with Alliance Atlantis, TMP, Sam The Record Man and many others. He is currently heading his own consulting firm, Blue Window Media Inc. and lists Critical Mass Releasing, Anchor Bay Entertainment and Sony/ BMG amongst his recent clients.

Heidi has been bringing her unique brand of energy and enthusiasm to radio and television programs for the past decade. As a journalist, she's she's covered federal elections and armed stand-offs. As a host, she's interviewed all kinds of people, from Sheila Copps and Tom Jackson to K-OS and Martha Wainwright. Heidi has hosted a CBC Radio show in every province in Atlantic Canada, and is the host of Living Halifax, a lifestyle show which airs weekdays at 3 PM on CBC TV in the Maritimes. She is also the Maritime host of CBC Radio 2's national live music concert show, Canada Live.

Jo is multi-instrumentalist and co-writer/arranger for the Hollis-Robinson Project. She is experienced as studio production coordinator/arranger and is currently the organizer of the AFC's Cleveland US Gathering Stateside
